Happy St. Valentine’s Day. A day now dedicated to celebrating love. Elsewhere I am reminiscing about 20 years of being married to a fantastic woman, but few people here are interested in that, so for this blog, I am making today all about the complex emotional relationship between Doms and their subs. Reminiscences on the things we do for love.

It likes to lick my face. Usually I don’t enjoy that particular intimacy, and I could deny it and it would be perfectly Ok with that. But it gives the boy a sense of belonging that makes it content. I might deny it more often than I don’t, but sometimes I give it this little thing to let it know that I value its service.

The love and adoration of a sub is a precious thing that must be cherished, even as the boy is rewarded via correction. That it puts itself into a position that no man has any legal right to demand is a testament to its need to fulfill a purpose. I will always do my best to give my boys what they need, even if I am forced to use them roughly and piss on or in them to make them happy.

Providing proper correction for a mistake takes a great deal of thought. Putting a boy in stocks and striking it is never something to do lightly. Some boys crave the heavy punishment as a sign that they are working hard to be better slaves. When ever a Master has to dole out a heavy punishment, it should always be followed by a clear sign that the Master values it. What better sign than to follow correction-pain with the pleasure-pain of a heavy fuck and filling it with your hot seed.

We ask the world of our submissives, and they deliver every time. Sometimes in the way we expect, sometimes in another way. Whether they do exactly as we expected, or surprise us by following us down a road where we had never intended to lead them, we owe them a debt of gratitude. Without a follower, a leader is just a guy going for a walk.

I don’t like wasting cum, and if a boy pulled off to do this, it would be cause for some sort of punishment. But sometimes I’m looking for a special reward, and letting it have my mess all over its chest and belly, if done infrequently, becomes a special treat. Sometimes you do things, not because you want to, but because you care.

And your Master would be happy to use it as a footrest. Not only for the comfort and pleasure it would bring me, but in order that it may become the best slave it is capable of being. I have a duty to it to use it in ways that will help it become more useful, so that one day, I can swell with pride as others say, It is Kevin’s property and it is a good slave.

I can sense the hunger in its eyes. Almost invariably the sub is impatient to taste its goal, but still it holds off, knowing that the suspense will make its prize all the sweeter. My asking it to delay is both asserting my domination and acknowledgement that it, too, will benefit from the build-up to the finale.

Sometimes it needs to be pissed on. I never take this lightly. Pissing on another human being is degrading, and it is often meant to be degrading. If it needs me to humiliate it, then I must overcome my sorrow and do so properly. It shoudl be fully clothed, and preferably in clothing it values. Ideally, it should be at a time and place where it is not expecting it. Humiliation is most exciting to it when it is most humiliating.

This one is a bit of a cheat, because I love eating ass so much that saying I’m doing it for my boy is practically a lie. Still, as much as I enjoy it, so does it, and anything we can do for the pleasure of both ourselves and others deserves a special place. Some things we do for pleasure, some things we do for love, some things we do for love give us pleasure.

Our primary responsibility is to make our sub a better boy. While the word punishment gets used carelessly, a Dom should never punish. Punishment is what the government tries to do to criminals. It is exacting a price for an infraction. We owe our boys correction. A firm hand to help it learn that what it did was bad for itself and others, so that it can become better at what it wants to be and bring honour and joy to both Master and property.

Some subs would be perfectly happy never cumming again if it pleased their Master. The control we provide is a gift, of sorts, that removes from the sub the need to make decisions about how and where it can experience pleasure. The release we grant it is all the more sweet for coming as an unexpected gift.
